Case Management Experience Preferred
- Oversees the hiring/termination of all staff for the area, assuring adequate staffing to meet office and home needs within established organization budgetary guidelines.
- Regularly monitors hours worked and payroll reports to ensure optimal hours are not exceeded.
- Assures that all staff hired meet organizational requirements for their positions and ensures that appropriate training is provided for all staff.
- Provides direct supervision for assigned professional staff and house managers.
- Works with professional staff and house managers to assure consumers’ individual needs are addressed.
- Works with Executive Director (or assigned supervisor) to maintain program within assigned budgetary guidelines.
- Works with Placement Team to assure census is consistent and ensures placements are appropriate.
- Works with all staff to assure quality assurance standards are consistently met so as to ensure programs are prepared for surveys at all times.
- Responds or delegates the appropriate person to respond to crisis situations.
- Works with Area Director (or assigned supervisor) to ensure timely submission of BOW documents.
- Assures maintenance program is effective in maintaining the safety and appearance of homes and office space.
- Conducts at least one (1) unannounced visit at each group home monthly and Foster Care homes quarterly.
- Ensure that the Agency conducts its operations in accordance with all rules, regulations, and mandates from applicable funding and governmental sources.
- Supervision of Residential Supervisor. Review of monthly safety inspections for home and consumer. Assist in maintenance of staff scheduling.
- Assist in hiring, evaluation, training, and monitoring of residential personnel and their job performance.
- Create and maintain agency staffing plans.
- Act as agency protection from harm coordinator and handle all agency investigations, plan of corrections and staff misconduct reports.
- Ensure the enforcement of all Agency and State policy requirements as applicable to operation of residential homes (i.e., fire drills, storing food, safety, etc.)
- Supervision of accounts manger position and ensure that all agency and consumers funds are accounted for appropriately. Review weekly the individuals’ petty accounts report.
- Required to be readily available to case managers for all emergency situations in the residential program. Coordinate and maintain agency on call schedule monthly.
- Supervision of agency case manager and review of monthly paperwork as submitted in monthly review. Review of all ISP summary reports written by the case manager.
- Supervision of Employment coordinator and support of day program activities.
- Review of maintenance and transportation reports.
- Review of all HRC restrictions and recommendations.
- Provide regular feed back to Agency personnel responsible for consumer programs.
- Formulate/maintain schedule that will accommodate regular unannounced visits of all homes
- Conduct unannounced visits at different program sites monthly.
- Conduct monthly safety committee meetings.
- Conduct monthly office fire drills and review residential home fire drills.
- Approve various supply requests, from each residence and Knoxville office (i.e., office supplies, vehicle repair, etc.)
- Assist the Executive Director in consumer outreach and recruitment efforts. Provide information to community ISC’s and other appropriate personnel of openings in our residential homes on a regular basis.
- Coordinate all agency transitions.
- Participate in the circle of support meetings for all persons served in the agencies Residential Program
- Participate in the interview process for all staff openings in the residential program
- Ensure the Agency bills accurately and timely for services performed. Review all payments and reports from DMRS and TNCARE to ensure reconciliation of billing and payments.
