Supervise Team Leaders and Maintenance Staff to ensure that they are completing job duties as required.
Interview applicants and hire direct care staff for available positions.
Distribute reference forms and drug testing forms, and training specific to the needs of the individual (TSNI) forms during the hiring process.
Schedule drug testing for applicants in the hiring/screening process if required. Work with Team Leaders to assign new staff to houses and open shifts.
Schedule all houses according to the staffing plan and the service recipient’s level of need (LON). Work with Team leaders to ensure all houses are staffed appropriately with trained staff.
Consult with Team leaders in hiring, assessing, training, supervising, and discipline of Direct Care Staff, and Floaters.
Conduct counseling, reprimands, and terminations in accordance with the Company’s Progressive Discipline Policy.
Consult with the Program Manager or Executive Director prior to terminating a staff person.
Complete and submit Personal Action Request Forms for employee changes.
Consult with the Day Services Supervisor and the Medical Services Manager on common issues and overlapping responsibilities.
Input and maintain DCS schedules into the Stromberg software.
Monitor schedules and follow-up on exceptions as identified on Stromberg reports.
Complete the open shifts, overtime shifts, and scheduled hours section of the Weekly Schedule Report and submit to the Executive Director.
Perform on-call duties as scheduled.
Prioritize and assign jobs to the maintenance foreman. Consult with the Program or Executive Director before assigning jobs estimated to cost over $100.00.
Assist the Program Manager with monthly billing.
Coordinate, complete and follow-up on home maintenance requests.
Participate in management, incident management, Quality Improvement Plan, transition meetings as required. Attend COS, ISP Planning Meetings, and other meetings as needed.
Be available to consult with case managers concerning emergency situations in the residential program.
Conduct at least one (1) unannounced visit at each program site quarterly alternating shifts.
Facilitate all consumer transitions and assist with referral, intake, admission, and discharge processes for service recipients.
